A program built around your store
Our standard program uses Black Ink coffee in your customer-supplied, pre-labeled, ready-to-fill bags. We can also discuss fulfillment for coffee you supply for toll roasting. Those are different production models and receive separate quotes.
Orders ship using an agreed shipping workflow. Outbound postage, custom boxes, inserts, label application, and special handling are separate from the per-bag coffee price unless your quote expressly includes them.
Volume-based pricing
For standard 12 oz bags using our coffee in your pre-labeled packaging:
- Tier 1: 25-bag monthly minimum. First 100 bags in a month: $11.50 each; bags 101–499: $10.75 each; bag 500 onward: $9.99 each.
- Tier 2: Optional enrollment for consistently higher volume. 100-bag monthly minimum; bags 1–499 are $10.75 each, and bag 500 onward is $9.99 each.
- Tier 3: Optional enrollment at a 500-bag monthly minimum; $9.99 per bag for the committed quantity and additional standard bags.
- Outbound postage: Additional at actual cost through the agreed shipping workflow.
- Possible custom-box discount: $0.25 per bag if our agreed handling process qualifies.
These are monthly minimum charges. We bill the applicable minimum at the beginning of each month and bill additional volume on the agreed cycle. If you sell fewer bags than your plan minimum, you still pay the full minimum for that month. Unused bags do not roll over, create store credit, or qualify for a refund. We do not produce or reserve unsold bags on account of the minimum charge.
Example: On Tier 1, 12 orders of one bag each still incur the $287.50 minimum for 25 bags that month, plus postage for the 12 shipments and any add-ons. The 13-bag shortfall expires at month end. If you sell 120 bags in a month, the first 100 are $11.50 each and the next 20 are $10.75 each, for $1,365 in standard bag charges before shipping.
Program onboarding is $150, and standard programs have a one-year commitment. One standard pallet position is included for qualifying accounts; additional space is currently $99 per pallet position per month, subject to an agreed storage plan.
You can use Black Ink coffee under our private-label model, or ask about toll roasting if you own the green coffee. Toll roasting plus fulfillment receives a separate quote; the standard tiers above use our coffee. Send pre-labeled bags ready to fill. Custom labels, boxes, inserts, cans, and other assembly require review and may have additional charges.
You create a Pirate Ship account with a saved payment method and connect it to your store where supported; we can help with setup. We use that account to buy labels for your orders. Postage is your responsibility and can be charged to your customers through your store. Orders ship from the 03452 area; rates vary with destination, dimensions, weight, and service. A single-order shipment might cost about $6–$12 in a common scenario, but your actual rate may be outside that range.
Before launch, we will agree on store access, order cutoffs, production cadence, shipment notifications, lost or returned packages, and who handles customer support. We will also confirm the bag specifications and how fresh coffee moves through the program.
